Want to delete some status

Dear person who may concerns,

I want to delete some status in pulldown when create issue,

But if I go to status setting, delete option is displayed with disabled and cannot delete.

Even though I am admin for this Jira

Hi,

You have a site-wide setting to allow users to select a status for an issue they're creating.

(See Settings -> System -> Edit Settings -> Options -> Status -> On/Off)

For the moment, you cannot limit the available statuses when this is set to "On". It all depends on your workflow and conditions you might have set to each of the statuses.

I actually want to delete some of status, but "Delete" option is disabled even I'm admin & there is no issues related to this status (Example, backlog)
