Want to customize email template

I need in some cases more and in other less information in the emails that Jira sends.

How to customize those templates?

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When it comes to system notifications, currently, it's not possible to edit its content. 

There was a feature request created a while ago suggesting this, but it was closed as "Won't fix":

• Create an Email Template Editor in the UI to Replace Editing Velocity Templates

There are other features requests suggesting this improvement:

• As a user, I want JIRA notifications to include the custom fields and their values on the Create Issue notification email
• Be able to customize outgoing emails per project
