Viewing work items from multiple (closed) sprints

Ben Mathews November 27, 2025

I frequently find myself wanting to refer to closed sprints.

I can use reports to view items in a sprint but that's view only so I can't, for example, I can't multiselect items to add them to a fix version.

The /issues/ area gives me a nice grid view of work items, filters and ability to use JQL but closed sprints don't show up in the 'sprint' column.  (so I can filter well but but can not have it displayed)

The 'list' tab also gives a nice table of work items.  Closed sprints *are* shown in the sprint column but the filter options here are limited (so I can display something but can not filter on it).

Is there another screen somewhere that let's you filter *and* display sprint names?

(I can see similar questions being asked very frequently on here but the latest one was a while back so I'm hoping there is something new that I'm missing!)

Welcome @Ben Mathews !

You can add the card layouts for both backlog and active sprints from board settings. For fields you would add Sprints.

Thanks for the reply but I'm trying to view information about closed sprints, rather than active or backlog.

As an example, we have completed a couple of sprints.

I have a web release planned on Tue and a Mobile release planned on Thur.

I want to be able to view all the work items from the past 2 sprints, multi select done (or will be done in time) items and assign them to the relevant Release.

I can do this OK from the /issues/ screen but it's annoying there is no way to show the sprint the item was in on the grid (without hovering over where it says 'None +1'
