Hello, I have a question concerning the view of issues in the roadmap.
In multiple epics of my roadmap appear a certain number of underlying issues. When I click on the epic to view the details, it shows a different number of underlying issues that are linked to the epic.
For example in the roadmap I see 10 issues under an epic, but when clicking on the epic it lists 40.
Initially I thought that only issues marked as "TO DO" would appear in the roadmap, this is however not the case. The entire number of issues (7) that are marked as "TO DO" in the epic-view do indeed appear on the roadmap, but the last 3 issues that appear on the roadmap are actually marked as ;deployed to prod; done; in review; (in that order).
Does anyone know what is the underlying mechanic here?
keep an eye on your advanced roadmaps "issue exclusion" setting (under plan settings on left hand side)
typically all issues that have been resolved (i.e. done) more than 30 days ago are not seen in the plan.
also check your filters on the plan itself, you may find they don't include the status's you say are missing.
finally try ticking "show full hierarchy" on the filter list if it isn't already, they may also appear.
Hi Martin,
There are different reasons why issues may not appear in your plan one of which is that they are not included in the plan's issue source.
The first step to finding why an issue isn’t showing in your plan is to search for it using the Find your issue function.
To find missing issues:
Select Plan settings from the left side navigation.
Choose Find your issue from the side navigation, then enter the missing issue’s entire key.
Please have a look at this guide to Troubleshoot missing issues in your plan to learn about the other reasons why the issue may not appear in the plan.
Let me know if this helped you find the missing issues :)
Thanks,
Hala ElRoumy.
