Hi Experts,
I have received a support on where to go and edit, so I can have Due date visible on when open up a task and view the summary of sub-tasks. But I don't know what parameter I should use for the "Due-date".
As of now I have done the following,
Administration > Application Settings > Jira > Advanced Settings > jira.table.cols.subtasks > Edit
Currently the following values are there: issuetype, status, assignee, progress,
Thanks,
Vinu
duedate is the value that you are suppose to add along with the fields already there. But unfortunately adding any fields there won't make any difference unless you are in the old issue view.
See the cloud reported issue. If you switch your cloud setting to old view, you can see the change being effective. But then you will have to make all your users disable the new view.
Hi Gikku,
So there is no way I can view the due date for the Sub-task in the new view. If there is a option please advice me.
Thanks,
Vinu

You can view the Due date only in the issue view, once you click the subtask and will open up the page for the issue.
But not possible to show up in the summary of the parent task, at least not with the new Cloud appearance.
If you want the due date of subtasks to be clearly visible from the parent Task page itself, consider including the due date(pre/post fix) along with the Summary of the subtask. This can be automated using some add-ons like Scriptrunner, Project automation etc.

Thanks Gikku,
Could you give me little more help in getting this done. Since I am very new to this, if you could help with exact location and commands it will be great.
Regards,
Vinu

Sorry, I just noticed you are on a 'Free Plan' of the Jira Cloud. The Automation for Jira features are not available with a free plan but only on a Standard/Premium plan.
