I see from my dashboards that the Version report will soon be retired from Dashboards in Jira. That's a bit of a surprise. Does anyone know why? And does anyone have any alternatives to use to track progress for a release/project on their dashboard. This was a key graph for framing on track/off track discussions for me.
I received the same notification in my dashboard. You will still be able to access the information within the project, but unable to share via dashboard. With the purchase of premium you will have access to Advanced Roadmaps which is what I now use to display and track versions and report using Confluence.
Thanks for the reply Elizabeth. I will have to look at roadmaps. But they don't feed into dashboards do they? I have a client that is not found of Jira, but having a dashboard is a one stop shop for them to glean the right information. Asking them to go here and there for it makes it more difficult.

I saw another post that the Agile Wallboard Gadget is now showing the same "retirement" message. Makes me curious how many other gadgets are being sunset, with the gentle suggestion from our vendor to purchase marketplace addons or upgrade to premium licensing. I couldn't find anything on the public roadmap about this change to dashboards.
Best regards,
Bill

Thanks for the reply Bill. Yes i wonder what the approach is. Moving to a strategy of encouraging marketplace apps (at cost) instead of getting things out of the box.

my company has Premium and it doesn't offer any extra enhancements for dashboarding. The add-ons and their slow removal of scaled capabilities is causing us to start seeking elsewhere for cheaper and more OOTB solutions. Jira Align is too expensive for a company in transition to Scaled. Majority of our users do not need scaled capabilities but the billing model disables us from even considering us from continuing with the Jira ecosystem any further.

This removal is going to be detrimental to scaled agile users as we can no longer use any out of the box capabilities with simple one stop shop locations for details. I'm going to be forced to buy more products now or do 15x the work to find out where my 15 teams are within their PI.
