I can't open the settings in vs code. A new tab will open with the name "Atlassian Settings" but the tab is empty, where it should show the jira, bitbucket, general and explore options.

  • I've reinstalled the Jira and Bitbucket extension
  • I've reinstalled VScode
  • I've tried older versions of the extension
  • I've started vscode with the --disable-gpu tag
  • I've manually removed the extension folder in ".vscode" in my user folder
  • I've manually removed the VScode folder in AppData programs
  • Started vscode with or without admin

Since I can't open the settings, I cannot log into bitbucket and thus I cannot see pull requests.

  • Windows 11
  • VS code 1.98
  • Atlassian 3.4.12
    • Also tried pre-Release and several older versions until 3.0.9

This blank “Atlassian Settings” panel usually appears when the VS Code extension fails to load its webview due to cached authentication data or blocked scripts. The Atlassian VS Code extension stores user tokens and UI state under your VS Code user data folder, and if that cache becomes corrupted, the settings view can’t render. Atlassian documents this behavior in the Jira and Bitbucket VS Code integration guide, which recommends clearing the extension’s local storage and reauthenticating.
Close VS Code completely, then remove the folder `.vscode/extensions/atlassian.
