We are trying to setup our Jira Server instance to automatically create tickets when emails are sent to a dedicated Gmail address. We already have Gmail setup and integrated and I have successfully created several mail handlers. Each has a different address in the Catch Email Address field and creates a ticket in a different project based on whom is CCed.
But I would also like to create a "Default" mail handler, so that if an email is sent to our Gmail without anyone being CCed, a ticket will still get created. I assumed I could just create a mail handler like the others and leave the Catch Email Address field blank, but doing this has caused erratic behavior. If an email is sent to our Gmail with an address in the CC which matches one of the other mail handlers, I usually get two tickets - one from the individual "catch email" handler, and one from the "default" handler, but sometimes I only get one or the other.
Is it possible to get the behavior I am looking for? I'd like to be able to specify a specific handler to handle the ticket creation based on an address in the CC field and have a default rule that only applies if the CC field on the email is empty.
I found how to turn incoming mail debugging on, but could find nothing about where to view the output of this, so that wasn't much help.
