Using a select list to populate multiple fields

We have a custom field called Business Partner that contains a list of organizations.

A Business Partner can be either the Sender or the Receiver of a transaction Request. 

Currently we have two additional select lists with identical content to populate the values of Sender and Receiver in a custom issue type of Transaction. Is there a way to create a Behavior or a ScriptRunner custom field to use the Business Partner as the single source for selection of the Sender and Receiver?

I would also like to populate multiple fields from a single list... like multiple fields that pick people from the same master list.
