Using If and Max in Automation for getting value in Custom field

I have to write the Automation for below :-

I have 3 numeric fields the A,B and C the field which has max value should be populated in Application field each field have corresponding value 

A - D

B-E

C-F

So for Example  B has Max value among the A,B,C the Application field should be populated with E

Few Steps to start with are write a trigger on Field value changed Put and JQL Condition to fetch data and then use action Edit value , not aware how to use If and Max in code for achieving the above

Hi @Sanjivani Wayal 

Because those are three different issue fields, and not part of a structured field like a list, you could try using a series (or nested) conditional expression, testing against your MAX() function call, to get your desired results.

Thanks i resolved this using Nested If Else Loops.
