Hello,

If I use filter of project A in Project B and then delete the Project A, will this action remove all work items on project A ?

I want to move the work items of Project A to Project B but on specific board of project B(It has 3 different Boards)

While doing bulk action - "Moving Issues" ,Jira is not giving me option to move to specific board on Project B.
So workaround is to use filter on Project B so we can see all work items of Project A but End goal is to delete project A.

Hi @Bhagyesh Dave

Moving work items from one space to another is independent from the Board.

A board has a board filter and a location.

  1. Move your work items (in bulk) from space A to space B
  2. Create a new board or change the board filter located in space  B to show all work items from space B.

Even if you delete space A, the old work item references will continue to work (if you don't use a third-party app or API to move the work items)

Hi @Dave Mathijs

So just double confirming, Deleting Project A in this case will not cause any issue if we are actively using Project B with the filters which shows items of Project A.

Thank You !!

Correct (after moving the items from Project A to Project B)
