I am the site admin and created my next gen project and when I make any changes to Jira issues people are not getting email notifications. My users have checked off under personal settings:
- Watch you issues: Inherit from Global Settings
- Email notification for issue activity: Send me email notifications
Also under Project Settings->Notifications items …. Issues Created and Issue updated are set to "All Watchers, Current Assignee, Reporter". I don't think I changed anything from the default but it is possible I did.
I had one of my users update an issue and "I" got an email though
