Users I have not invited are joining our JIRA Page, I am not inviting them. How is this happening?

We are continually getting emails confirming that 'firstname.lastname@email.com' have joined our JIRA page but these people have-not been invited. 

I restrict their access to reduce risks etc., however it keeps happening and I don't know why. 

any help appreciated!

Can you check the settings in the following Location - admin > user management > site access

ah ok great thank you. in that menu 

It says: 'Approve the following domains' is the highlighted radio button, then in the box below is empty but below that is an already added sse.com icon 

I assume i need to select 'dont approve any domain' ?

Correct. As set anyone from see.com can join without invitation so if you don’t want that the un-tick approve following domains. However, someone chose that I suspect so you might question that.

Is it always the same domain that is joining? Are the users joining as customers?

yes its always an internal business email (the business i work for) and it seems like they are all meant to be joining another JIRA group in a different business area yet we have no affiliation with them. its almost as odd as getting someone elses emeils!

I think @Jack Brickey is correct - if you check the settings you're likely to find that the domain is allowed.
