User story stuck in status

I have an user story that I am trying to change the workflow. It won't let me update the status as the Accessibility Not Required Field is empty. It let me update the Accessibility Not Required field in the current status. Please advise. 

Admin also tried and received same errors.

Hi @Samacicia_ Natalie _CNE_ ,

This sounds like a workflow issue. There is probably a workflow validator blocking the status change.

• Can you/admin go to Project Settings → Workflows
• Find the transition 
  
  
• Edit the validator or look for the required field
• You can either remove the validator or go to the field configuration to make it optional.

This is more of a question for you Jira admin, since this community is mainly made up of Atlassian customers and as such we do not have access to other customers instances.

You should look at the workflow and figure out if there are other restrictions besides the field one that prevent you from changing the status.
