From https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/permissions-overview-764478244.html I understand that two users belonging to the same group and having the same project roles schema should have access to the same set of projects. I'm experiencing the opposite.

I've never encountered this issue before so I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

There is a missing piece - could you look at the "Browse project" and "project administration" lines in the permission schemes for both projects. (Ignore the other permissions, those two are the ones that matter)

That did it, thanks. It's been a while since I last had to do this and I totally forgot about that screen. It's solved.
