hey hey
i've been in Atlassian user management hell for over an hour now.
i have used atlassian with my personal email address before and i have access to different workspaces i created previously. i am also org admin there
now i wanted to create a completely new org, and for this reason created a new gmail address.
all good, i was able setup jira and confluence and added my personal email to the org (added all prododucts as well, i know the drill) and my personal email just doesnt receive the invite to the new workspace.
i tried removing the email and resend the invide - error message: my email can not be removed.
tried to hack the access management in incognito, removing my account form this browser and re adding it, nothing works that is in reach to my knowledge.
what could be the issue? i believe this is a crooked user management of Atlassian and since i am on the free plan i have no access to an Atlassian employee who could actually help in this.
such awesome customer experience...
any ideas guys on how to fix this?
Hello @Zsoff Umami
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
I'm not sure that I have your situation correct. Let me try to restate it.
You have Email-1. While logged in as Email-1 you have already established an Atlassian Cloud Organization with site(s) and app subscription.
You wanted to create another Atlassian Cloud Organization with a new site/subscriptions. You created Email-2. While logged in as Email-2 you created the new org/site/subscriptions. You can access those as Email-2.
In that second Organization you added Email-1 as a user. No invitation email is received in the Email-1 inbox.
Is that correct?
Did you check the spam/junk email folder for the invitation?
In org2 when you go to Directory> Users what information do you see for the Email-2 account for Status?
When you click on the Actions button what options are available?
What action are you selecting and what is the full message you get when it says the mail can't be removed?
