User is not logged in Jira Software for a long time, made a change in the issue!

advyra Team March 23, 2021

Why a user that is not logged in for a long time, made a change in the issue!

The user is mine, but I do not use it! 100% sure. and no one has access to it but me.

However, I saw a strange log in the history log ( 2 am ), it changed the assignee from one user to another!

I Checked in the Audit Log, but nothing was there, How can I make sure that I am in a good position and who can help me in terms of security, I couldn't find an option to write to the support?

Thanks

Hi @advyra Team  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It is probably some type of automation that fired at that time. Maybe a Scheduled trigger automation.

If you go to the Audit Log for Automation and search back to the type that the issue got updated, maybe you will be able to determine with rule fired and updated it.

Hello John,

Thanks for your reply!

I already did that, and tried to find at least ( matching date/time of this type of change) but could not see anything related record in the Audit Log.

Moreover, we still not use automation rules in that way!

Not sure how that can happen.

You should probably go ahead and open a support ticket with Atlassian:
