We have issues with many comments and a user would like to be able to search within the issue they're viewing where they're tagged.
I know how to search for issues they're tagged in, but is it possible to search for their mentions once they're in the issue?
Another option I thought might work would be to link from the notification email right to the comment since the notification says a comment was added, but there's no link in the notification email right to the comment added.
Any suggestions?

@Angie Affolter Nothing like this currently exists. There is not functionality to take them to the comment were they are mentioned from the email. You could just do a search (cntrl f ) on the page via the browser for their name.
There is an outstanding feature request that relates directly to this topic in JRACLOUD-27594 - JQL search for @mentions. This is not something that Jira has historically been able to do, so a feature request is more appropriate here than a bug ticket would be. I would recommend voting that issue up.
