User License Fees/Requirements with Two Separate Instances

Manny Palafox October 13, 2020

Hi,

This is an extension of my other "ask of the community" where I needed to know if I can link issues between two separate instances of Software (Cloud). Apparently, the answer is yes :-D

So my follow-up question to that are the following:

1. Can an issue created in Instance #1 be "auto" cloned in Instance #2?

2. Can comments made in either instance be "auto" replicated/copied in the other instance?

3. If an issue in one instance is moved to a different status, can that be auto replicated to the other instance?

4. It would appear that a user will need a "paid" user license in both instances if they want at minimum just to view any updates, progress, and /or comments on the other instance? In other words, the customer has to pay for two separate licenses? Is that correct?

Thank you.

You can indeed link them over application links.

But the answer to questions 1, 2 and 3 is that "You will need coding for, or a synchronisation app to do that"

On 4, yes, you'll need dual licences - the two Cloud systems are separate systems and hence are separately licenced (well, subscribed to)
