Urgent question - How can we restore a deleted project under Jira Software 8.20.10

How can we restore a deleted project in Jira Software 8.20.10

I am not able to find a Trash link under Settings > Projects . 

Please we deleted by mistake a project and it's very important to restore it because we have created critical cases and notes under it.

Hi @Romy Khalife ,

If it is a Company Managed Project you will need an Administrator with Global Permissions. 

For the Global Admin, they will want to follow these steps:

1. Choose > Projects.

2. Select Trash from the sidebar. 

3. Find your company-managed project and select > Restore.

I have a JIRA Administrators group which is under Global Permission, but I am not able to see the Trash in the Sidebar under Settings>Projects

Hi @Romy Khalife if you are a Global Admin, you should have the option for Atlassian settings and adding a Global Admin. Can you check this from your end?

Note: I don't know a way to grant Global Admin privileges to groups. To my knowledge this can granted to individual users through the following:

Product Switcher-> Administration -> Select Organization -> Administrators-> Add Administrators

Is it possible that you are creating site administrators with your group and need someone with or to grant you Global Administrator privileges?

Sorry I am confused; I am not able to find Product Switcher> Administration> Select Organization.....

Please, can you send me an email with snapshots to romy.khalife@cardinalhealth.com regarding the steps needed to restore a deleted project?

Let's be sure to update here so that we can help others in the community who might have the same question.

By asking you to go to the Atlassian Administration I was hoping to confirm you are a Organization Administrator and not simply a site Administrator. If you are not able to follow this path, I think we might need your Organization Admin to make you an Organization Admin or check if they can recover your project.
