Upgrade from LTS 8.5.7 to 8.12

Is it possible to migrate from LTS 8.5.7 to the Jira latest version (8.12)? I know its not possible to downgrade (8.12 to 8.5.7).

Are there any limitations or things we need to consider when moving from the LTS release to the Latest version release?

Hi @Darren Lodge , 

there's no issue in upgrading from 8.5.7 to 8.12, just be aware of what addons need to be upgraded before. You can check this with Jira update check as described here : https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/preparing-for-the-upgrade-966063325.html#Preparingfortheupgrade-apps
