Update on AX-159

There is this issue AX-159 open since 2023... 

that @Rodrigo B. was working on. Unfortunately the last update was from 2025-12-16 and he has been inactive since according to his profile activity. Maybe not even working for Atlassian anymore.

Anyway. Is there anyone from Atlassian staff that can take over this request please?

Good day!

I just checked internally, Rodrigo is still working with Atlassian. The best way to get an update on an existing bug or suggestion ticket is to directly comment on the ticket.

The product leads and developers have direct visibility and review the suggestion tickets periodically to gather feedback from the comments as well.

Thanks for the input @Karan Sachdev . Glad to hear he is still around.

An update on the matter was scheduled for January. I commented and asked for an update in February and March. 

From my experience, it's usually the PM or assignee that provides updates to the customer, not the customer being left in silence for months. 

The bug alone is annoying. The way Atlassian treats affected users is on another level. 

Could you please nudge someone internally to actually inform us on the progress, timeline etc.?

Usually all information/questions should be in that ticket - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AX-159

Just leave a comment on that ticket, and i'm sure that atlassian team will look on it.

I'm afraid we won't be able to help process this issue here on the community forum.

But I've looked into this issue and according to the status only Assets are problematic. Is this your case that Assets are blocking the rename of some your groups?
