I want to fill a jira custom field named "Physical Location" with value from a jsm form.

Two field all Multiple Choice type.

When language is English, it worked, But when i change language to Chinese, "Physical Location" stay empty.

Maybe the reason is the form has been translate to Chinese. Or i made a wrong automation rule?

Hi @XXY ,

Regarding this:

When language is English, it worked, But when i change language to Chinese, "Physical Location" stay empty

What exactly have you translated into Chinese? Only form field or Jira field and values as well?

Note that there's an open feature request related to translations: JSDCLOUD-14967: Choice fields linked to Jira fields or data connections can’t be translated at this time.

Basically, if you have 'separate' fields in forms and Jira, the options need to match for this to work.
Maybe a workaround here would be to use Lookup table, where Key would be the Chinese value, and the value would be the translated/original value in English 🤔

Cheers,
Tobi

Thanks for you reply.

I add choices for the jira field so that, any language can fill automally.

My final field options are as follows:
