Hi Sukesh,

am I right you are trying to create a Kanban Board / Scrum Board? In case you are actually using Jira Core this is not possible.

For using software boards on the on-premise solution (Jira Server), you'll need Jira Software.
In the cloud core offerings of Jira there are "business boards" (with a rather limited feature set).
