I have had no problem tagging teammates in the stories' comments section until that two days, and now with no changes that I know of, no one pops up when using the @ sign. I have tried signing out and re-logging back in with no luck.
To be able to mention people you must have a global permission called "Browser Users and Groups". Check with your Jira Administrators to determine if you are assigned to a group that has been granted that permission.
