When I attempt to syncrhonize Big Picture timeboxes with Jira for the my project, I get the an error: Jira Board sprints have been detected. Sprint dates are missing - timeboxed can't be created. Fill in the dates for the first Jira Sprint, then we will be able to calculate the remaining dates.
This seems related to overlapping sprint start/end dates in Jira, where a new sprint always starts on the same day that the previous sprint ends. However, I’m unable to update the start/end dates of sprints in Jira without the end date changing to the current date.
I have tried manually removing the sprint dates from old sprints, there’s no way to do it without re-opening the sprint in Jira. Then closing the sprint overwrites the dates with the current date anyway… defeating the purpose!
Is there another workaround that might allow me to synchronize Jira and Big Picture?
