Unable to switch from old JIRA board to new JIRA board on Android Mobile App

My company was acquired so I needed to switch my JIRA boards from the old company's JIRA to the new company's JIRA.  Everything migrated fine on desktop and mobile web, but my JIRA Android App is still linked to the old JIRA board and I can't seem to get rid of it and/or connect to the new JIRA board. HELP!!!

Hi Jay,

If your email address is the same with the new setup you should be able to switch between any sites where the account still has access.  To do this, In the app go to Account and the "Switch sites" option is at the top to the right of your email address, tap it and a list of available sites should pop up for you.  If it says "Add sites" it indicates you only have access to the single site through the account you are logged in as.

If this is the case and the email account is different for the new site you'll need to log out and into the new address.  To log out go to Account > Settings > Log Out and you will be taken back to the login screen.  Login in using either email and password, or the login with google option.

If you're set up to log in via Google make sure the email address for the new company you are using to log in is added to your accounts on the Android device if it is different from the original account, check out This Article  for the steps to do this.

On login with google once the new account is added it will give you the option to choose the desired login account.

Hey Earl,

The email address for the new site is the same as for the old site - I just checked my profile in each (on my desktop). I don't have a "Switch Sites" option in the App, just the "Add Sites" and every time I click it, I get re-directed to the log-in screen. 

I've logged in with my email as well as with Google and the end result is the same. I cannot add or access the new site (board).  All my email accounts are on my phone, not like one is missing or needs to be added.  Appreciate that article link, though.

Any other ideas?

Is there a way to disconnect the old board from my App so I can start fresh and add the new one? Would changing the email address on the old site do the trick?

I need to be able to get "pings" from JIRA when things are added to issues on the new board.
