Unable to see active sprints board

I am using a Next Gen Scrum board for my project, and sprints are enabled. Unfortunately though, the side bar only gives me an option for "Board" there is no "Active Sprint" option available. I would really like the Active Sprint view so that I can see what subtasks are in the sprint. Could someone help me to figure out what is wrong?

Welcome to the community.

There is no Active Sprint option when you are using the Team Managed (a.k.a. Next Gen) Scrum board. If you click on the Board option you will be shown the Active Sprints in the Board view automatically. This is the same as the Active Sprints option for a Company Managed Scrum board.

Regarding seeing the sub-tasks in the sprint, once you are viewing the board you will have to change the Group By option to Subtasks to show the Subtasks as cards on the board. Otherwise they don't display.
