Unable to load data using =jira()
I’ve been using and relying on a Google sheet report for my team’s tasks for several months. It’s a little brittle at times, like having to reconnect/reauthorize occasionally, or the scheduling fails and needs to be re-added. But mostly it’s been a huge time-saver to have custom reports and dashboards in Google Sheets.
Today, however, my sheet just spins and spins and never retrieves any data from Jira (Loading...). I’ve confirmed my formula is fine by testing it in the JQL interface online. The online help says that occasionally this will happen and to delete the formula from the cell, hit Enter, and re-enter the formula. Tried that, didn’t work.
So I deauthorized the app, uninstalled it from sheets, restarted my browser, and started afresh. After reinstalling and reconnecting the Jira sheet connector I created a new sheet and entered just =Jira() in a single cell, and I’m getting the same results.
This has worked beautifully until today, and I changed nothing. What’s wrong?
