I am trying to install Jira software on my MAC.

Following is the error I am getting :

*************************************************************************************************************************************

**********     Wrong JVM version! You are running with java version "10.0.2" 2018-07-17 but JIRA requires at least 1.8 to run.      **********

Hello,

It means that you installed Jira on your Mac. Jira already goes with an in built jdk. You should not install a new one. But if you want to have 2 JDK's then you should set the JAVA_HOME variable to the jdk from Atlassian distribution.

Jira works only with Java 8.
