Unable to edit custom work type

When I try to edit my custom work type I keep getting this error in the UI: "We couldn't save your changes" (See below).  When I look at the network inspector in chrome there is a 400 error for the request.  All changes fail.  I can't add, remove or edit any fields for this work type.  The issue started today, I previously had no issues editing this work type.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

There doesn't seem to be an active incident per Atlassian's Status page.

It may not make a difference, but have you tried another browser app, clearing your browser cache, or a private browser window?

Are there other users with the same level of access as you that can test the same scenario? Do they get the same result?

Have you reported this to your Jira Administrators?

Sometimes these types of problems resolve on their own. If the problem persists and others can replicate it, I recommend you report it to your Jira Admins and they can escalate it to Atlassian technical support to investigate.
