Unable to drag and drop some issues in sprint (get error message)

Hey everyone,

My team converted our classic Jira project into a NextGen project. We converted all old backlog items. We've now planned our sprint, but it seems we're unable to drag and drop some issues "to do" to "in progress". It seems that it's the old issues from our old Jira board that none of the roles in the team can move, however new issues made we are able to move. 

This is the error message we get:

Does anyone know what this issue might be? Is it a settings thing, a bug, something else?

Checking the logs, I was able to find some issues related to status Blocked, In progress, Ready for test:

May we know how the project was converted? Did you follow the steps of the documentation below?

• Migrate between next-gen and classic projects

Are you using the board in the project or is it a personal board with a custom filter that lists the tickets from the next-gen project?

I ask this because this error is related to workflow conditions, but in next-gen, since there is no option to add conditions, a status should have no restrictions to move between other statuses.

Also, I would like to know what is the access to the project? Is it private, limited or open? If it's limited, it can be related to the bug below:

• Error 'The ranking of your issue has failed. We are unable to rank your issue. Please try again later' when ranking issues on next-gen projects with Limited access
