Unable to create a sub-task

While creating a subtask I'm getting a warning sign and a notification: Error server response

Error 500 is service/firewall issues label. You must be facing some service unreachable or unauthorized issue in your Jira server. If this is happening frequently, please contact your administrator

Are you on server or in Cloud instance ?

In the first case, I can suggest you to wait, maybe you have a problem with your server. You can also contact your IT service to know if some actions are currently running on this server.

In the second case, check your permissions (in theory, you have all needed permissions to create a subtask if you see the button), If you can, check the Issue Type Scheme contains subtask and if some required fields are present in the creation field of subtask. And in last action, refresh your page and retry. (You can also try to create a subtask by another way to vhevk if it's possible or no)
