I am trying to create a new Jira Cloud site. After entering the site name and clicking next, I consistently get this error:
"Something went wrong on our end. Please try again. If this keeps happening, contact support. (Issue ID for Atlassian use: Anonymous ID: '99880084-6287-56ef-1332-3eb4ccf1ef11')"
I have tried different browsers, incognito mode, and different network conditions, but the error persists. Could you please help check the server-side logs for this Anonymous ID?
Hi @Jiabao Zeng
I saw that this issue was solved by someone by using a VPN. Have you tried using it as well? Go with that first, then if it doesn't work, you can raise a request here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact
Note: this is only for Standard and above tiers, if you are on the free tier, I would escalate this to the Atlassian support engineer.
Hi @Nikola Perisic, thanks for the suggestion!
I've already tried a VPN — tested a few different nodes — but still getting the same "Something went wrong on our end" error. Also tried Chrome and Firefox, both with incognito mode, same result.
Since I'm on the free tier, I can't raise a support ticket though 😕 — any chance you could escalate this to an Atlassian engineer on your end?

Hello @Jiabao Zeng
Sometimes the browser’s own CSP settings can block this.
You can try using a VPN, or alternatively reach out to Atlassian Support so they can check it from their side.
Best,
Arek🤠

Hi @AreK, thanks for the tip!
Yeah, I gave VPN a shot (tried a few different nodes) plus incognito—still no dice, unfortunately. At this point, I think it’ll need someone on the Atlassian backend to take a look.Appreciate the help anyway!
