Unable to change Status of tasks under Each Epic

I opened a free JIRA software account to track a product and as I inputted Tasks, it did not let me choose between Incomplete, In progress or Done but stayed on just Done. Can someone help me figure this feature out?

It sounds like you have an issue in the Done status that you wish to reopen and are unable to do so. this is likely because there is no transition out of Done into any other status. Have a look at your workflow to validate this theory - project settings > workflows and edit the workflow. If no workflow exists you can certainly add it.

I see, I opened a new workflow and saw that all of the statuses are seperate. Can you help me with the workflow?
