Unable to assign issue

Hi!

I'm using ScriptRunner Listener to assign issue via Groovy script and I'm getting could not add component watchers as a notification recipient 'null' error when issueService.assign code is executing. I don't have any components in my project and there are watchers in the issue I was testing on. What seems to be the problem here?
