Unable to Install Apps

Hello all,

I have installed Jira - the trial license appears to have expired.

I was under the illusion that with less than 10 users the product was free and no limitations applied.  However, attempting to install an app, I was advised to check payment details and license details.  After some hunting, I found my Jira was on a standard license - up to 10 users... as expected. I have not entered payment details.... because this product is under review, and it would be a company expense (not a personal one).

So no support available - which wasn't available even when in trial period.

No payment detail yet agreed to or available

How can I install a 'free' Jira App?

Hi @Barry Neilson

It appears that your site was in a trial for Jira standard and these 2 other marketplace apps.  When the trial expires, if there are no billing details on file, the products actually get deactivated instead of just being downgraded to a free plan.   It looks like you had a previous support case to re-activate the site, and Jira is active at the moment, but the marketplace apps were not.

I created a new ticket to seek to reactivate these apps as well in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/35/CA-3125416

Hi @Barry Neilson

If your looking a way to change your subscription, you need do this:

Go to admin.atlassian.com - Billing tab - product name - under product name look for manage option - change the subscription to free plan.

Make sure your lincense is not morethan 10user for software and 3 user for service management.

Hope it helps,

Thank you

Unfortunately, I changed the subscription to free, but the issue still persists.  I

I changed this to free plan and noted a requirement to enter billing information, but I am not the authorisor to do so on behalf on my company - being merely tasked to review Jira to determine how it might satisfy project requirements. I cannot provide billing information.

I tried this again this morning, but unfortunately, the add-in failed to install.

I'm running into this problem but it only occurs with 1 app so far:

https://MYDOMAIN.atlassian.net/jira/marketplace/discover/app/com.stonikbyte.great.gadgets.plugin

For some reason I can't install it even though my domain qualifies for the FREE Plan. I have been able to install OTHER apps (that I'm qualified to use for Free under my plan), but this one continues to give me fits and say it's "Run into a Snag"  @Dexter de Vera , @Andy Heinzer , any ideas?
