Unable to Assign Epic to Team (Jira Cloud - Free)

I am looking for a way to assign Epic's to specific teams.

Version: Free Jira Cloud.

I have setup a team with users and I can see the Epics in the Roadmap I have created.

In the teams field in the Epic /Issue detail, there are no teams listed and non shows up on search.

Also, I am unable to create any plan for the road map following the the guides (https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapsserver/creating-your-plans-970267321.html)

Is this feature available only to upgraded accounts or there's a separate guide to free accounts to assign issues/epics to teams?

As it stands the Teams feature seems useless as I can't do anything with it.

Issues cannot be assigned to teams they are assigned to users. Epics are no different than other issue types in this regard. Regarding plans the link that you provided was actually for server and in cloud advance road maps is part of premium not standard or free.
