Best,
Arek🤠
I joined an existing team and was added to a project that was already in progress.
Proir to joining, I registered for a Jira account and was assigned to the relevant project. However, when I tried to access the project, I encountered the database synchronization error shown in the screenshot. Since then, I have been unable to access the project or proceed with the assigned work.

This usually indicates that Jira is still waiting for the database synchronization to complete. Since refreshing and retrying hasn’t helped, I’d recommend checking the Atlassian status page first for any ongoing Jira Cloud issues.
If there’s no incident reported, try signing out and back in, clearing the browser cache/cookies, or testing in an incognito window. If the error continues, Atlassian Support may need to check the site/database synchronization on the backend.

Hello,
Thank you for your response,
this issu has been occurring continuously since 18th Aug 2026, and nothing has progressed since then.
We have already tried refreshing the page, signing out and back in, clearing browser cache anc cookies, and using an incognito window.
Unfortunately, the issue still presists.
So Could you please investigate whether there is an issue with teh site synchronization or database synchronization on the backend?
Please let us know if you need any additional information, such as the Jira site URL, affected user account, screenshots, or timestamps.
Thank you!
