Hello,
We need to split up our workflow and have one workflow that ends at QA and another that starts at UAT to Prod. However I need transition status's to include UAT approval and denial and if denied the ticket needs to be able to be reopened and go back into the 1st workflow for Development again. Is there workflows that are for UAT and or QA processes? What would work best is there examples etc anything that can give us ideas on how to best plan these two workflows that will be working together in the same project. Reason we need to split it is because UAT is the business testers and they have their own agenda they do not test in the sprint we add the tickets and those tickets just sit and roll over from sprint to sprint breaking all sprints and we cannot get any good data or just the jira reports for our sprints.
In your workflow, you can have one scrum board for the first part of your workflow (developpers work in scrum), and a Kanban for the business testers on the second part of your workflow.
For your scrum board you select only the firsts status of the workflow, and the others for the kanban for QA.
Hi Esmeralda,
Why do you need two different workflows? You can probably do it in one. Do you have a diagram that describes what you are trying to do? I am not following the written description very well.
