Typing a comment squishes all the text very closely together

Hi all
Since the new October 2020 updated, I have noticed that sometimes, typing a comment causes all the text to be squished into one spot rather than taking up new space as you type. Pressing enter seems to then fix it. It is very annoying as it quickly gets to a point where you can't read what you've been writing.
I am running Chrome 87 (Dev build). This issue isn't occurring in Chromium 86 so it must be something new in Chrome clashing with the update.
