Hi community,
I am strugelling with usage of Quick Filter. I am working as a Scrum master and I just join new project.
From my past experince I remember situation when we had board and on the board was line with quick filters("QF"), obviously. Set up by Product owner.
I was managing two teams and by this QF I had ability to choose team and then from selected team name list of members.
Now I am in situation when I need something similar. Will share some details to cover current needs.
I have 2 team both with circa 11 people in, they are working kinda separately, could call them Ninja and Spiderman.
Ninja has own backlog and the same applies for Spiderman team.
Sometimes, people from Ninja helping to Spiderman or vice versa. And know where is the ISSUE...
When teams is mixed I am not allowed to use QF as they are set up - checking per team member. In this situation I could add all names but it is not solving the problem as is. As I would like to keep guardlines and learn who is actualy in which team.
Is there possibility to all names from Ninja and Spinderman on both boards but connect them somehow with current team name. So in real time scenario when we will do investigation about progress in Sprint I will ask particular person I can use firstly group as team name (Ninja or Spiderman) and then I would be allow just choose from team members of selected team.
Or is there any other way which come to your mind and could solve this issue?
Is there any other way how select Jira issue by name when person is in board "just for visit" for one Sprint and you don´t want to add more people as is just short term support.
Thank you,
Tereza
Hi @Tereza S
Can I just clarify...
Ste
Hi @Ste Wright ,
thank you for reacting.
1) Yes, 2 separete boards in 1 project.
Boards are separated but composition of the team could change Sprint to Sprint.
2) On board is just plan for each team.
3) It could happend when there is some cross collaboration in Sprint. And visibility is managed usually by labeling as far as I know.
