I have two Kanban boards set up in one project. When my coworker creates a ticket, he wants to be able to choose which board it goes on. Instead, it puts his ticket into the first board that was created. Is there a way to select which board, in a project with multiple boards, the works gets listed on?

Boards do not contain issues, they select a list to show.  There is no "choose to put it on a board", you put data on an issue that is then selected or not by any board.

You will need to look at how each board selects their issues to allow your user to understand which boards it will appear on depending on the data they put on it.

Hi @michael.chase -- Welcome to the Atlassian community!

A board is a filtered view of a backlog (project).  Check the filters for the two boards, and update them to match what makes the issues on the different boards.

For example, it could be by Epic or Component, or Label, etc.  The issues should reflect that difference too.

Best regards,

Bill
