Two dimensional filter statistics - Axis

I've created a dashboard and added a couple of two dimensional filter statistics gadgets.
2 out of the 3 I've created are perfect, but my problem comes with the most important one...
Right now, XAxis is Status and YAxis is Assignee, cause I need to know everyone's issue status.

Filter is ok but in order for the gadget to be useful I need XAxis to be Status Category, not just Status. Otherwise I get a column for every active project, as shown in photo, and I need 1 To Do and 1 In Progress column.

I'm not an administrator, so I can't change issue attributes. Is there a way for me to do this?

Hi @Alex G 

Short answer: sadly, that is not possible with the out-of-the-box dashboard gadgets.

Longer answer:

As the built-in gadgets have not apparently been updated in over 10 years, and there seems a push to use Confluence with addons rather than dashboards, you may want to investigate marketplace addon gadgets/reporting to meet your needs.  Other alternatives are to report outside of Jira by pulling/pushing out the data or to build your own addon gadget.
