Should/can components have icons?  I'm trying to clean up the display of component names because they appears to have an overlaid graphic. See screen shot below:

Hi Paul,

No, components do not have icons. They are however an important instrument to categorise your issues within a project, why the icon is probably there to have them stand out.

The overlay seems like a bug in the gadget, related to the new design of Jira. An issue has been reported already and you can track it here: JRACLOUD-67792.
