Trying to log in on the app and just keeps returning me to main page

Trying to log in on the app and just keeps returning me to main page. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it but same issue.

I have no problems using the website but would ideally like to be using the app.

I had a similar issue and the cause was down to my device software needing an update

May be worth checking if your device software needs to be updated as this helped with my issue
