Trying to approve a user set up application.

I've got a user who has set up their own App in JIRA and has received notification that this needs to be approved by Admin first. However, as Admin i've not received a request for this app to be approved. I also can't find it in requests. Does anyone know how I can approve this app?

When you say it's the user's own app, could you clarify what type of app it is?

• a Forge or Connect app they've developed,
• an OAuth 2.0 (3LO) app,
• or another type of custom integration?

Also, what is the exact message the user received saying the app needs administrator approval? A screenshot of the notification would be helpful.

Depending on the app type, the approval process is different. For example, OAuth (3LO) and other third-party apps may require authorization by a site admin before they can access Jira data.
