Trello as a Jira board

Wouldn't it be very helpful to use trello to manage Jira boards? Not just linking tickets from Jira into Trello, but linking a Jira board or filter to Trello, and then viewing and editing all issues as on a Trello board. 

As in: 

As a Jira user, I want to add any filter from Jira to a Trello board, 
in order to manage issues right inside the Trello software

That would also provide a great client tool to the stack which Jira currently does not offer. 

Does anyone know if there are such plans?

Probably not any plans by Atlassian, as there are tools out three which offer Jira & Trello syncing.
