Treat "Updated" like an normal field and put it in sidebar or above Description?

I can't find a way to put "Updated" in the "new" issue view. (I haven't tried "old" issue view as I don't use that view.)

My users spend time scrolling down to the bottom of the sidebar to see "Updated:" to see if the issue they are reading has changed or when it last changed.

We'd like to put "Updated:" on top of the sidebar. Or even up in the breadcrumb trail next to the issue key.

Is this possible?

None that I am aware of.  Created, Updated, and Resolved dates are (as far as I know) only available in the contextual field, bottom right corner of a ticket.

You could probably write a script or perhaps use a 3rd party tool to populate that info in a custom field, but you can't move those timestamps.

I hope I am actually wrong about that though...

Hi @eirens

You may want to watch/vote for this suggestion about how those date fields are shown in the new view: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70098

Best regards,

Bill
