Trasition Update custom field post function current datetime

Hi guys, 

i want to update a custom field with the current date when a trasition happens, but i receive unbale to update the custom field...

im using '%%%%current_datetime%%%%' and my custom field is a datetime..

@andrevieira, I got this to work by just using two percent symbols on either side. 

%%current_datetime%%

Can you try that and let me know how it goes?
